    Day 1: Arrive Negombo (D)

    Having arrived in Sri Lanka, you will be greeted by our representative and your guide at the airport itself. Take a leisurely drive to Negombo and check in at the selected hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at your own leisure.

    Day 2: Explore Negombo (B/D)

    Visit the fish auctions down by the beach, followed by a visit to the Dutch Fort and a local Catholic Church. Later, take a boat trip through the river delta and tour a local farm.

    Day 3: Sigiriya / Dambulla (B/D)

    Rise early and drive to Ritigala Jungle Monastery, where you will get a chance to explore the ancient ruins. Afterwards, travel to Minneriya National Park, home to Sambar Deer, leopards and elephants, and enjoy a safari before continuing to Sigiriya.

    Day 4: Sigiriya / Dambulla / Polonnaruwa (B/D)

    Explore the UNESCO World Heritage listed Rock Fortress or 'Lion Rock' rising 200m from the jungle surrounding it. Here you will get a chance to climb to the top of the fortress. Later, drive to the ancient kingdom of Polonnaruwa, the second oldest city of Sri Lanka and also a UNESCO World Heritage listed site. Tour the ruins of the Royal Palace and Gal Viharaya, a 12th-century rock temple.

    Day 5: Kandy (B/D)

    Travel to Dambulla and tour the Dambulla Rock Temple, built in the 3rd Century BC. Continue to Kandy, a sacred Buddhist city, visiting a spice garden in Matale en route. This evening you will watch a cultural dance performance before enjoying dinner.

    Day 6: Continuation of tour in Kandy / Peradinaya (B/D)

    This morning visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the world and later explore the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, which were created as leisure gardens for a Sinhala King. Afterwards, explore a local market, a gem museum and an arts and crafts center.

    Day 7: Nuwara Eliya (B/D)

    Leave Kandy and travel to the lush hill country of Nuwara Eliya, visiting a tea plantation and tea factory en route.

    Day 8: Nuwara Eliya / St. Clair's Falls (B/D)

    This morning visit St. Clair's Falls, one of the unique waterfalls in Sri Lanka. You can view the waterfalls from the road above or walk 500m along a trail to take a closer look. Afterwards, tour a local tea plantation.

    Day 9: Udawalawe (B/D)

    Drive to Udawalawe National Park, famous for its elephant population. While here you will be taken on an open-top jeep safari to visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, which provides care and rehabilitation to orphaned or displaced elephants.

    Day 10: Galle / Koggala (B/D)

    Rise early to participate in the early morning feeding of the elephants, before driving to Galle, stopping to see the stilt fishermen at Weligama en route.

    Day 11: Bentota / Kalutara/ Hikkaduwa (B/D)

    Enjoy tour around Galle including Galle Fort, the lighthouse and the Dutch Museum before travelling to Bentota via Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn more about turtle conservation.

    Day 12: Continuation of tour around Bentota / Kalutara/ Hikkaduwa (B/D)

    Journey by boat through the Madu Ganga Wetlands. Sail past traditional fishermen, local farms and small cottages and visit a cinnamon farm. Return to Bentota/ Beruwala/ Hikkaduwa for overnight stay.

    Day 13: Colombo / Shopping at Pettah Market (B/D)

    Drive to Colombo and tour the Fort District, the surrounding merchant streets and enjoy some shopping at the Pettah Market.

    Day 14: Tour around Colombo (B/D)

    Visit a Hindu temple, Kelaniya Buddhist Temple, the Dutch Wolvendhal Church, Colombo and Natural History museums and the Davatagaha Mosque. After a late check-out and dinner, you will be transferred to the airport for return flight.

    Sri Lanka, officially the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, is an island country in the northern Indian Ocean off the southern coast of the Indian subcontinent in South Asia; known until 1972 as Ceylon, Sri Lanka has maritime borders with India to the northwest and the Maldives to the southwest.

    Sri Lanka has a documented history that spans over 3000 years. Its geographic location and deep harbours made it of great strategic importance from the time of the ancient Silk Road through to World War II. Sri Lanka is a diverse country, home to many religions, ethnicities and languages. It is the land of the Sinhalese, Sri Lankan Tamils, Moors, Indian Tamils, Burghers, Malays, Kaffirs and the aboriginal Vedda. Sri Lanka has a rich Buddhist heritage, and the first known Buddhist writings were composed on the island. The country's recent history has been marred by a thirty-year civil war which decisively but controversially ended in a military victory in 2009.
    Negombo is a major city in Sri Lanka, located on the west coast of the island and at the mouth of the Negombo Lagoon, in Western Province, Sri Lanka. Negombo is the fifth largest city in the country after the capital Colombo, Kandy, Jaffna and Galle, and it is the second largest city in Western province after Colombo. Negombo is also the administrative capital of Negombo Division. It is one of the major commercial hubs in Sri Lanka of about 128,000 inhabitants in the city limits, approximately 37 km north of Colombo city. Negombo is known for its huge and old fishing industry with busy fish markets and sandy beaches.

    Negombo features a tropical rainforest climate under the Koppen climate classification. The city receives rainfall mainly from southwestern monsoons from May to August and October to January. During the remaining months of the year there is also a little precipitation due to Convective rains. The average annual precipitation is about 2400 millimetres.     Q. What are the inclusions and exclusions of our packages?
    This package includes accommodation, private tours, transfers and half board meals as mentioned in the itinerary. Other tours, lunch and meals not mentioned in the itinerary are not included. Extra night rates, optional tours and other meal requirements are available upon request at extra cost. Hotel peak surcharges are not included.
    Q. Can I travel alone?
    Yes, however there will be applicable surcharge if you will travel alone. Rates will vary due to each hotels have different single room surcharges. Rates will definitely become higher as transportation expense will be paid by one person only. We suggest that you travel with a partner or bring your friends so rates will be lower and you can get more discounts.
    Q. When is the best time to travel?
    In terms of climate, the driest and best seasons in Sri Lanka are from December to March for the west coast, the south coast and the Hill Country; while from April to September for the ancient cities region and the east coast.
    Q. How much is the infant/child rate?
    Normally, infant age will range from 0-2 y/o while child age will range from 2-9 y/o but varies depending on the hotel policy. In most packages, there are no infant fees but no meals will be provided. While child rate will range from 50% - 100% of total adult fare.
    Q. How do I get my visa?
    Generally speaking, you may get your visas at Sri Lankan embassies in your country. However, there is an online system where you can apply and secure your Sri Lanka visa prior to arrival, you may visit the Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization System ( and follow the application process.
    Q. Can you create customized tours specifically for my requirements?
    Yes. You may send us your preferred itinerary and other requirements so we can quote accordingly.
    Q. Can I book my flight ticket through
    Where can I get my flight ticket? No, we do not process air tickets unless a domestic flight is already included in the package. You may book your flight tickets directly to your preferred airline.
    Q. What types of meals are included in the package?
    Breakfast at the hotel is included in this package. Dinner is normally served in a local restaurant. Lunch is not included in the package.
    Q. Do I need to get travel insurance?
    Where can I get my travel insurance? It is recommended to get travel insurance prior to your departure date. You may apply for your travel insurance with your local insurance provider.
    Q. Are taxes & service fees and peak season surcharges already included in the package?
    In most packages, taxes and service fees are included unless not stated. Peak season surcharges for hotel accommodation are not yet included in the package.
    Q. How far in advance should I book?
    It is advisable to book as early as possible once you are firm with your travel dates so you can avail of lower rates and hotel rooms are widely available.
